The Dam

Just a five-minute walk from Central Station, Amsterdam’s main square is usually busy with locals and tourists at all hours and there’s always something going on.

In the square in amongst the hustle and bustle, you’ll find a wide array of food stalls, restaurants and shops, including local delicacies and international favourites. There is so much to do and see.

You’ll also find the Royal Palace, the old home of the Dutch Royal family, as well as Amsterdam’s own Madame Tussauds with world-famous wax works, and the Nieuwe Kerk, often home to art exhibitions.
